Change is a constant companion through life. The person you are today won't be the same as the one you'll be a year from now, just as you've moved on from who you were a year ago. As we face each struggle, we shift and adapt to what resonates with us. For instance, I'm a first-generation immigrant who dreamed of becoming many things: an attorney, an astronaut, a biologist, a writer, and more. These professions seemed to demand extensive education and less direct interaction with people. Yet here I am, a manicurist and a business owner. Life has a way of pushing us forward in unexpected ways. Despite always claiming I wasn't a "people person," avoiding the idea of spending my days in constant interaction and people-pleasing, that's precisely what I've become. I adore interacting with people. My profession requires basic education and a bit of skill, but everything beyond that I've learned by doing, embodying the saying, "You can't learn to drive in a parked car."
My days are filled with listening to both women and men, aiding in their concerns or offering solutions. It begins with enhancing the appearance of their hands or faces, but it evolves into an energy exchange that leaves my clients stepping back into the world with renewed vigor. They not only look better but feel better too. In changing their mental state, I play a part in shaping their lives, just as this journey has shaped mine.
Here I am, digressing once again. Change is Inevitable. Our desires evolve continuously, influenced by our experiences and the people we meet. Career ambitions shift, especially for women who enter new relationships or face the ticking of their biological clock, making marriage and children the focal points of their concern over their own desires.
